Celebrating our 35th Anniversary has given us a great opportunity to look back at the key moments in the history of Alliance Maintenance. We’ve enjoyed reflecting on the big events that helped transform Alliance from a small “mom and pop” business into one of the largest cleaning companies in the southwestern part of the United States.

1983 | Neil starts cleaning the walls of his dad’s racing engine service shop |
1983 | Neil launches official operations under the name “Boyd’s Custom Cleaning” |
1984 | Boyd’s Custom Cleaning Begins Focusing Exclusively on Office Cleaning |
1991 | The business becomes “Alliance Maintenance” and moves headquarters out of the house and into a real office |
1998 | The 1st location outside of OKC opens in Tulsa |
2003 | The first out of state location opens in Texas |
2003 | Alliance starts cleaning all athletic facilities at Oklahoma State University |
2010 | Gift wrapped toilet paper premiers as a promotional item and is an instant hit |
2014 | Alliance commits to using only microfiber cleaning tools |
2015 | Exciting customers by creating clean and orderly places to work is introduced as the Alliance vision |
2017 | Alliance reaches the milestone of cleaning 19 million toilets |
Today | Alliance has 10 locations in 6 states and serves 810 customers |
