Vinegar is an excellent natural cleaner. It is a weak acetic acid that is able to kill bacteria and viruses. I thought it might be interesting to explore how people at Alliance have used vinegar to clean over the past few months.
The following are all actual stories from recent history relating to people at Alliance using vinegar to clean something:
Odor remover. One cleaner recently filled a spray bottle with a white vinegar and water solution and sprayed trash cans and restrooms.
Countertops. Another cleaner used the spray bottle with vinegar to clean the countertops in a building.
Clean refrigerators. One cleaner soaked a rag in a vinegar/water solution and used it to wipe down the outside of the refrigerator.
Removing hard water stains. We recently wrote another piece on vinegar that detailed how a cleaner used a vinegar/baking soda paste to remove hard water stains in a gym shower.
Clean stainless steel appliances. A cleaner in Denver used vinegar to remove fingerprints and streaks from stainless steel appliances.
Coffee maker. A cleaner in Oklahoma City ran a vinegar/water solution through a coffee maker to thoroughly clean it.
Hamster cage. A cleaner in Norman used a vinegar/water solution to clean the inside of a hamster cage.
